The Sewing Station of Austin is a family owned business, which opened its doors in March of 1984 in Harvey, Louisiana. Our first retail store started out, as a fabric store, but soon we began to carry sewing machines. As our business expanded, we moved our original store in Harvey to Metairie, Louisiana. In November of 1997, we opened our second store in Baton Rouge, and in January of 2004, opened our third store in Mandeville, Louisiana. After the hurricanes in 2005, we closed our three Louisiana locations, and we moved our family and our business to Austin, Texas. Our Austin location, near Lakeline Mall, opened for business on May 15th 2006. We are Authorized dealers of Husqvarna Viking, Brother, and Singer Sewing Machines and Accessories. In the past, we have carried Bernina, Pfaff, White and Elna Sewing Machines and Sergers, as well as Miele Vacuum Cleaners. We service all makes and models of Sewing Machines and sergers, including industrial machines.
